HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE for Cellular insulation of Communication Cables.

NI1034 is a high-performance HDPE compound specifically developed for solid insulation of telephone single wires, enabling high-speed extrusion. It is ideally suited for use in petroleum jelly- filled telephone cables and can also be effectively used as the outer skin layer in foam-skin insulation constructions.

APPLICATIONS:

Grade NI1034 offers excellent surface quality, smooth flow characteristics, low die head pressure, and supports high output during extrusion. It is ideally suited for:

  • Insulating dry core and petroleum jelly-filled telephone cables
  • Serving as the outer layer in foam-skin insulation systems

When processed under proper material handling and extrusion practices, NI1034 is expected to meet relevant industry standards such as: ASTM D1248 Type III, Class A, Category 4, Grade E8/E9, IEC 60708, and EN 50290-2-23.

HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE Natural (Grade: NI 1034)

STORAGE:

Package: Bulk, Octabins, Bags NI1034 has a shelf life of 24 months from production date if stored in unopened original packages, under dry and clean conditions at temperatures between 10 – 30 °C (50 – 85 °F). Material shelf life is affected by the storage conditions and extreme conditions influence the general material quality and performance. It is also recommended to ensure proper stock rotation by First In – First Out principle.
